Job summary

NCS is seeking an autonomous AI Engineer to design and build the AI harness, agent framework, and reusable components for a modern data platform using Apache Iceberg, Trino, and Parquet. You will lead the development of an agentic execution framework enabling collaboration, state management, and end-to-end data engineering capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building AI harness or multi-agent frameworks.
• Strong Python experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and data tooling.
• Hands-on work with Apache Iceberg, Trino, Parquet and lakehouse patterns.
• Knowledge of metadata, data lineage, governance and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI Harness/agent framework for autonomous multi-agent workflows.
• Develop specialized agents for data discovery, ingestion, transformation and governance.
• Create reusable data pipelines, testing suites, and CI/CD deployment artifacts.
• Ensure security, observability, tracing, and operational support across pipelines.
