Job summary

BCG U in Singapore is hiring a senior software engineer to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of AI-skilling solutions. You will bridge product leadership and engineering, refining architecture and guiding hands-on build from concept to deployment.

You’ll own RAG patterns, data architectures and security, with hands-on responsibility across cloud, API design and vendor oversight. A strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments will fit this role.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in software engineering with a focus on production AI/LLM-based products.
• Direct experience with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, vector databases and LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Comfortable making and owning architectural decisions on cloud infrastructure, API design and data architecture.
• Experience producing technical specifications and overseeing external development vendors.

Responsibilities

• Refine and validate the technical architecture for AI skilling solutions before build begins.
• Make and document key technical decisions covering cloud infrastructure, API design, data architecture and security.
• Produce technical specifications that external vendor teams can build from and oversee delivery against them.
• Establish coding standards, review processes and architectural guardrails for IP protection.
• Design and implement LLM integration patterns including RAG pipelines and model-agnostic layers.
• Ensure encryption, tenant isolation, RBAC and GDPR compliance across the stack.
• Identify and manage technical risks across the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to broader thinking on AI solutions architecture as technology and business evolve.
