We have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the regional team based in Singapore. The role will provide an opportunity to work across different markets and products. In the corporate actuarial team, the key responsibilities include:
Reserve reviews underlying Group results covering a diverse range of business with an initial focus on casualty business as well as accident & health which could be later extended to other property & casualty and consumer business lines.
Statutory reserve reviews and support on ERM to meet local requirements.
Present the proposed financial result to product heads and senior actuaries for review.
Work together with other teams to identify areas for improvement with an objective to enhance profitability.
Enhance data analytical capabilities and processing efficiency to meet expanding business needs as the Asia Pacific portfolios grow.
This role will have close engagement with the stakeholders of various countries and products. The ability to interact with colleagues from different backgrounds and communicate in a direct and prompt manner will be critical to success in this role and further opportunities within the Chubb global network.
4-5 years of experience in a reserving/corporate actuarial role for general insurance
Part-qualified actuary with progression towards qualification
Experience in Property & Casualty business preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with various stakeholders
Experience with programming languages such as Python an advantage
