Overview

The Company: A well-established organization in the shipping industry is currently seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end financial oversight of vessel capital and operating expenditures, ensuring accurate budgeting, accounting, and reporting in line with group policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage vessel CAPEX through the Oracle Projects module, monitor budget versus actual costs, and coordinate with Fixed Assets for proper capitalization.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and accruals from project commencement to completion.
• Partner closely with Technical Managers and third-party ship managers to manage annual budgets, review operating costs, analyze variances, and prepare management reports and presentations.
• Support inventory and cost analysis, ensure compliance with financial delegations and controls, provide professional financial guidance, and drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, cost-saving initiatives, and enhancement of financial and operational procedures.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, management, accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification, with relevant experience in the oil & gas or maritime industry.
• Solid understanding of cost control fundamentals and accounting standards, including cost treatment across various project types.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Projects, General Ledger modules, accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, SmartView, and business intelligence tools (preferred).
