Senior Accounts Executive (Full-Set Accounts | Financial Reporting)

Location: Upper Thomson - Tagore

Working Days: 5 days (Monday – Friday)

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Salary Range: $3500-$4500

Job Purpose

The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting functions. Tasks include ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, overseeing daily accounting operations, providing financial data for reporting, and implementing process changes to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Accounting Operations & Compliance
    • Manage Accounts Payable (AP): process and review vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, maintain vendor records, and manage payment terms.
    • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, resolve discrepancies, and monitor AR aging.
    • Review supplier invoices and ensure accurate costing input into accounting system.
    • Perform bank reconciliations, collections, credit control, and intercompany transactions.
    • Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with statutory regulations.
    • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure accurate financial records.
    • Prepare monthly and year-end closing journals and financial reports.
  2. Financial Analysis & Reporting
    • Generate invoices for cross-entity operations.
    • Monitor daily cash flow and provide updates to management.
    • Prepare audit schedules for external auditors.
    • Provide accurate financial reports to support management decisions.
  3. System & Process Management
    • Maintain and administer ERP system, including customer/supplier setup and issue resolution.
    • Collaborate with IT on ERP enhancements and system implementation.
    • Review and improve internal control procedures.
  4. Cross-Functional Support
    • Liaise with HR, operations, and sales to provide financial data and reports.
    • Support project billing, costing, and interdepartmental coordination.
  5. Leadership & Continuous Improvement
    • Oversee and guide junior accounting staff.
    • Participate in improving financial processes and efficiency.
    • Undertake ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.
