Senior Accounts Executive

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team and take a leading role in day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. This position carries a higher level of ownership, judgement and accountability, and works closely with the Finance Manager on month‑end closing, audit coordination and financial reporting matters.

The role is suited for an experienced accounting professional who is hands‑on, dependable and capable of operating with minimal supervision, while serving as a key support pillar within the finance function.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance Manager on finance, accounting, audit and reporting matters
  • Independently manage end-to-end accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions across multiple entities
  • Take ownership of assigned accounting areas, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
  • Lead month‑end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Perform and review bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements
  • Prepare foreign currency revaluation entries, including realised and unrealised exchange differences
  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors for assigned entities
  • Ensure proper maintenance and organisation of accounting records and documentation
  • Process and review payments and staff expense claims in accordance with internal controls
  • Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Support ad‑hoc finance tasks and process improvement initiatives as required
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Accounting or a related field
  • 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity environment
  • Strong hands‑on experience in AR, AP, bank reconciliations and month‑end closing
  • Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors
