Job summary

yee heng foundation pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounts professional to manage full sets of accounts for multiple group entities and support timely month‑end closing and reporting.

The role requires a Diploma or LCCI accounting qualification, at least three years of accounting or audit experience, and the ability to work independently while liaising in English and Mandarin with colleagues and business partners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on accounting work, including entry of invoices, receipts, payments, journals and other accounting transactions.
• Conduct project accounting and month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Review work by Accounts Executives and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist with group consolidation, audits and other finance matters.
• Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts for one or more group entities.
• Prepare monthly general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset and intercompany reconciliations, schedules and journal entries.
• Perform hands-on accounting work, including the entry of invoices, receipts, payments, journals and other accounting transactions where required.
• Perform project accounting and month-end closing activities, ensuring that the accounts and supporting schedules are completed accurately and within the reporting deadlines.
• Review work prepared by Accounts Executives and follow up on outstanding or reconciling items.
• Assist with group consolidation, audit requirements and other finance-related matters where required.
• Undertake ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Experience and Qualifications

• LCCI, Diploma in Accounting or another relevant accounting qualification.
• At least three years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in maintaining full sets of accounts and completing financial closing activities.
• Able to work independently, meet reporting deadlines and maintain accurate supporting schedules.
• Experience in group consolidation would be an advantage.
• Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking employees and business counterparts.
