Job summary

A professional services firm in Singapore is looking for a meticulous Senior Accounts Executive. In this role, you will handle full sets of clients' accounts, prepare financial statements, assist with GST submissions, and maintain compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Accountancy or Finance, have at least three years of experience, and possess strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of relevant working experience, preferably in an accounting firm or corporate services.
  • Strong level of accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Salary Range: S$4,000 – S$4,800

About the Company

We represent a rapidly expanding professional accounting and corporate services firm seeking a meticulous and motivated Senior Accounts Executive to join the dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Handle full sets of clients’ accounts, including accounts receivables, accounts payables, bank reconciliations, and invoicing.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  3. Assist with GST submissions and ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns.
  4. Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal controls.
  5. Liaise directly with clients and external parties on accounting, audit, and corporate compliance matters.
  6. Support process improvements and participate in ad-hoc accounting or administrative projects when required.
  7. Provide guidance and support to junior team members where applicable.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience, preferably in an accounting firm or corporate services environment.
  3. Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude.
  5. Able to work independently with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB) will be an advantage.
