Senior Accounts Executive
Location: Tagore Industrial Ave
Working Days: 5 days (Monday – Friday)
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary Range: $3500-$4500
Overview
The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting functions. This includes ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, accuracy in financial records, and timely reporting. The role also oversees daily accounting operations, supports management decision-making through financial insights, and contributes to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Manage Accounts Payable (AP): process and review vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, maintain vendor records, and manage payment terms.
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, resolve discrepancies, and monitor AR aging.
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Review supplier invoices and ensure accurate costing input into accounting system.
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Perform bank reconciliations, collections, credit control, and intercompany transactions.
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with statutory regulations.
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Monitor expenses and ensure accurate financial records.
- Accounting Operations & Compliance: Prepare monthly and year-end closing journals and financial reports.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Generate invoices for cross-entity operations.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Monitor daily cash flow and provide updates to management.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare audit schedules for external auditors.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide accurate financial reports to support management decisions.
- System & Process Management: Maintain and administer ERP system, including customer/supplier setup and issue resolution.
- System & Process Management: Collaborate with IT on ERP enhancements and system implementation.
- System & Process Management: Review and improve internal control procedures.
- Cross-Functional Support: Liaise with HR, operations, and sales to provide financial data and reports.
- Cross-Functional Support: Support project billing, costing, and interdepartmental coordination.
- Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Oversee and guide junior accounting staff.
- Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Participate in improving financial processes and efficiency.
- Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Undertake ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in full set of accounts and financial reporting.
