Job summary

A finance and accounting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts and prepare financial reports. Job description

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, bank reconciliations and preparation of schedules
• Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts and monitor financial performance
• Prepare monthly management account and annual financial report in accordance with head office and local statutory requirement
• Handle store payments in Singapore
• Prepare monthly variable rent and sales commission calculations
• Coordinate with auditors in connection with annual audit process and handle GST and corporate tax filing matters
• Other projects as assigned by management
• Occasionally travel may be required

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting with professional accreditation
• At least 5 years of experiences in similar capacity preferably in retail industry
• Candidate with stronger experiences will be considered as Senior Accountant or Assistant Accounting Manager
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Independent and self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility
• Experience in LS Retail ERP, BC and SAP accounting system will be an added advantage
