Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead closing processes and consolidate group reporting. You will manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings, oversee tax compliance, and coordinate with overseas subsidiaries from our Downtown Singapore base.

The role requires 5+ years in cost/financial accounting, strong financial reporting skills, and Korean-language proficiency for liaison with Korean stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting & Finance.
• At least 5 years in cost accounting or financial accounting.
• Strong experience in financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Experience with holding companies, shipbuilding or shipping industries preferred.
• Proficient in Korean for liaising with Korean-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in line with SFRS(I) and IFRS.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for holding company and overseas subsidiaries.
• Produce full sets of FS including I/S, B/S, CFS, and SCE.
• Submit quarterly and annual reporting packages to headquarters.
• Conduct financial analysis and present management reports to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor subsidiary performance and ensure accurate consolidation.
• Oversee tax compliance (CIT, GST, WHT) in Singapore.
• Manage transfer pricing docs and cross-border tax matters with advisors.
• Ensure statutory/regulatory compliance and filing deadlines.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and intercompany financing activities.
• Lead shared services: accounting, payroll, and related support.
• Administer intercompany service agreements and cost allocations.
• Lead external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Drive annual budgeting and oversee daily finance operations.
• Mentor and develop the finance/accounting team.
• Act as liaison between regional ops and HQ on finance matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with SFRS(I) and IFRS requirements.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements covering the holding company and overseas subsidiaries.
• Produce full sets of financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual financial reporting packages to headquarters, including accounting conversions and reconciliation adjustments.
• Conduct financial analysis and present management reports to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor subsidiary financial performance and ensure accurate consolidation of financial results.
• Review and validate financial closing packages submitted by overseas entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee Singapore tax compliance, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Withholding Tax (WHT).
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and support cross-border tax matters in collaboration with external advisors.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, corporate governance requirements, and filing deadlines.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support stable business operations.
• Manage intercompany financing activities, capital structure planning, fund procurement, and dividend distributions.
• Oversee shared service functions including accounting, payroll administration, and related support services.
• Administer intercompany service agreements, cost allocation frameworks, and recharging processes.
• Lead external audit engagements and serve as the key liaison with auditors.
• Drive the annual budgeting process and oversee day-to-day finance operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Act as the primary liaison between regional operations and headquarters on financial and business matters.
• Support additional finance, accounting, and corporate projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting & Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience incost accounting and/or financial accounting.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, subsidiary management, and HQ liaison.
• Experience in holding companies, shipbuilding, or shipping industries is preferred.
• Proficient in Korean to liaise with Korean-speaking counterparts and stakeholders is preferred.
