Responsibilities

• Ensure timely & accurate closing of monthly & yearly accounts.
• Review entries posted by AR and AP executives.
• Prepare and post journals into accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Handle year end audit, including preparation and queries.
• Prepare GST reports and tax computations.

Job description

• Ensure timely & accurate closing of monthly & yearly accounts in accordance with Group Policy, SFRS and regulatory requirements for a list of intermediate holding and active operating companies; include financial and statutory reports, timely submission of monthly reports to Group consolidation system.
• Review entries posted by AR and AP executives.
• Prepare and post journals into accounting system.
• Prepare monthly audit schedules and ensure regular clearing of balance sheet items.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Handle year end audit including annual report preparation, audit queries, XBRL and other audit related matter.
• Timely and accurate preparation of corporate tax computation and schedules.
• Prepare GST reports to ensure correct GST treatment and timely submission to IRAS.
• Review and approve apex form for asset requisition, write-off, disposal and transfer accordingly to the relevant SOP.
• Review and ensure accurate Fixed Asset reconciliation and reporting.
• Review and monitor project tracking and ensure timely and accurate capitalization of project.
• Participate in digital transformation and continuous improvement initiative as assigned.
