Job summary

Bitdeer Group is seeking an experienced finance professional in Singapore to lead financial reporting and compliance. You will manage monthly close, audit coordination, and ensure accurate investor materials.

The role requires CPA qualification, 5-8 years in financial reporting, and strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge. Experience with SEC disclosures is a plus, and Oracle is preferred. The position offers growth within a fast‑growing tech-enabled company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA qualification is required with Big 4 experience or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting.
• SEC disclosure/Reporting experience is a plus.
• Strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge; internal controls knowledge is valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute internal financial statements and reports with high accuracy.
• Analyze financial reports, support process improvements, review earnings releases and investor relations materials.
• Coordinate with teams for complex financial analysis and reporting.
• Manage monthly close, reconciliations and related accounts.
• Coordinate annual audit with independent auditors and prepare reporting packages.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and file quarterly forms.
• Research accounting issues and implement new pronouncements for IFRS/US GAAP.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting controls and processes.

What you will be responsible for:

• Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability and accuracy.
• Analyze financial reports and support process improvements and execution. Review earnings releases and ensure the accuracy of investor presentations and conference call scripts.
• Coordinate with various teams to perform complex financial analysis and prepare reports summarizing financial data.
• Manage the monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts.
• Coordinate the Company's annual audit with independent auditors, prepare recurring financial reporting packages and draft reports.
• Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements, prepare and file quarterly forms in accordance with applicable requirements, and document new rules and regulations.
• Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluating and implementing new accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, and prepare accounting memoranda.
• Develop and maintain the integrity of financial reporting processes and financial controls.
• Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures governing the financial reporting process.
• Prepare and interpret operating results for periodic management reports.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain supporting documentation for financial reports and provide relevant financial information and analysis to various departments and committees.

How you will stand out:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA qualification required, with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or similar environment.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting, with candidates considered at both Senior Accountant and Finance Manager levels based on their experience and capabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience with SEC disclosure and reporting requirements is an advantage.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Knowledge of best practices in internal controls.
• Oracle knowledge preferred.
