Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of accounts/finance executives, including recruitment, training and performance management
  • Conflict management and problem resolution - Identify and solve issues so the team can operate effectively
  • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing, consolidation and financial reporting to management for entities within the group
  • Accounting processes and tasks utilizing ERP system, including coverage of Finance aspect of Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Costing, Close Process and Cash Management
  • Ensure compliance with external and internal rules and requirements, including but not limited to GST/WHT/CIT and audits
  • Review and redesign internal processes within the team to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Coordination between management and external stakeholders - Manage and coordinate communications between external stakeholders (banks, corporate secretary, auditors, tax agents, government agencies etc) and submit completed documents
  • Chargebacks resolutions - Review chargebacks, pre-empt chargebacks and report fraud to authorities
  • Balance sheet optimization - Recommend and implement best practices for optimizing the company's balance sheet including FX hedging, interest rate hedging, cash management etc.
  • Coordinate with the Accountants for the overseas subsidiaries and other group entities to manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Support ad-hoc and standard requests from other business functions for financial information, and work together to develop efficient management reporting processes

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, proven experience in managing month‑end closing, financial reporting, and consolidation across multiple entities or business units
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and end‑to‑end finance processes (e.g., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Costing, and Cash Management)
  • Strong team leadership experience, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, motivate teams, and foster collaboration in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work across departments and with external parties
