Job summary

A local healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a Finance Officer to assist with costing and analysis. You will develop cost accounting systems, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with procurement teams for budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy and 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Oracle Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel. This role starts onboarding in January 2026.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in the same capacity.
  • Familiar with Oracle Accounting Software or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, documentation, and records.
  • Analyze cost inputs and recommend changes to improve profitability.
  • Prepare timely cost reports for management.
  • Monitor and report on cost variances and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct inventory valuation and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to understand cost drivers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Participates in tenders and RFPs projects.
  • Deputize supervisors in their absence, if necessary.

Who We Need

Assists the HOD, Finance to take charge of costing and analysis. Be involved in cost models for project valuation and sensitivity analysis in order to assist management in the capital investment decisions, scenario planning and analysis. Assists in the hospital’s annual budget exercise as well as liaise with T&S on the upgrades & updates of the Oracle Financial System and be involved in the patient management and patient accounting system.

Your key responsibilities

How to Succeed
  • Bachelor in Accountancy or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of experience in same capacity

  • Familiar with Oracle Accounting Software or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data literacy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
