A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, 5 years of relevant experience, and strong expertise in taxation and budgeting. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools like Cognos and Netsuite are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or any relevant programmes.
• 5 years relevant experience with strong expertise in Accounting and Financial reporting, Taxation and Budgeting.
• Experienced with Cognos and Netsuite an added advantage.
• Strong Excel skillset.

Responsibilities

• Full set of month‑end closing activities within the Group’s reporting timeline.
• Preparation and consolidation of hospitality KPI information for review.
• Provide support to AP matters when required.
• Preparation of GST and WHT filing.
• Preparation and submission of ECI and final tax computation.
• Support annual audit requirements by preparing requested schedules.
• Ensure statutory submissions and filings are completed on time.
• Ensure compliance with established internal controls.
• Flag any irregularities or issues to the finance manager or stakeholders.
• Support the integration of front‑end operational data into the finance system.
• Review account balances to plan fund usage.
• Prepare loan drawdown/ repayment requests.
• Prepare necessary documents relating to bank signatories.
• Support the forecasting and budgeting process.
• Assist with updating the approved budget and forecast figures.
• Involve and support system implementation and process improvement.
