Senior Accountant (1-Year Contract Position)

We are partnering with a leading MNC to hire a Senior Accountant (Contract, 12 months) based in Singapore. This role will focus on financial reporting, month-end closing, and driving process improvements, including process mapping and efficiency initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring audit plus commercial experience, strong exposure to full sets of accounts. Good hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting activities across multiple entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in line with internal and external requirements.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support process mapping and documentation to strengthen financial reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align on reporting and process requirements.
• Participate in ad hoc projects, including system or process transitions.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualifications (CA/CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting, ideally with audit plus commercial exposure.
• Strong knowledge of full sets of accounts, month-end closing, and reporting processes.
• Prior experience in process improvements, process mapping, or system implementation projects.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across regions.
• Comfortable with a contract position and hybrid working model.
