Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the full set of accounts, consolidate JV projects, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction sector. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required. This role offers the opportunity to support year-end audits and taxation activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts for headquarters.
• Consolidate JV projects' accounts.
• Handle AP/AR invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
• Assist in management reporting and analysis.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Title: Senior Accountant under financial manager.
• Responsible for full set of accounts of headquarters, consolidating 4 JV projects accounts by share.
• Daily accounting duties including payments and posting entries to the system
• Processing of AP / AR invoices, including verification, coding, reconciliation;
• Issuing cheques and prepare bank reconciliation statements;
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filing
• Prepare and assist with the processing of all general ledger journals
• Assist in management reporting and analysis.
• Provide support for year-end audit and taxation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or ACCA
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English
• Construction working experiences, especially with Chinese companies, will be preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• More than 5 years of accounting and supervisory experience
