Job summary

HORIZON MANPOWER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Network Support Engineer to deliver expert Azure Core Networking support for secure government cloud environments.

This role acts as a senior escalation point for complex incidents, advanced troubleshooting, and architectural guidance across DoD-grade networks. You will design end-to-end deployment solutions for ExpressRoute devices, lead capacity planning, and drive network automation initiatives in a Singapore-based setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network operations, engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, routing and switching.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking services including ExpressRoute Direct, VPN Gateway, Azure Virtual WAN.
• Experience with network monitoring, SPAN, packet capture, and traffic analysis.
• Experience with ticketing and incident management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• PowerShell and/or Python knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a 24x7 environment.
• Eligibility to obtain DoD Secret clearance and CJIS background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior escalation point for critical network incidents, customer issues, and deployment problems.
• Lead resolution of high-priority incidents affecting federal cloud network operations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Design and implement solutions for complex networking environments.
• Provide technical guidance on ExpressRoute Direct architecture, capacity planning, and optimization.
• Support network monitoring and performance improvement initiatives.
• Architect end-to-end deployment solutions for Microsoft ExpressRoute devices.
• Develop and optimize network automation workflows.
• Design, validate, and implement complex production network configurations.
• Evaluate and integrate services from Microsoft network partners.
• Support network infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Develop troubleshooting procedures and knowledge-base articles.
• Lead post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior and intermediate network engineers.
• Contribute to capacity planning and scalable infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture reviews and governance activities.
• Manage LOAs and coordination with infrastructure partners.
• Support network decommissioning activities.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with network monitoring, SPAN, packet capture, and traffic analysis.
• Experience with ticketing and incident management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise or cloud networking environments.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a 24x7 operational environment.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.
