Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in early childhood education, special needs, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children with special needs or in a similar role.
• Experience supporting students in developing phonics skills and using phonics programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN students by delivering targeted phonics instruction to improve reading and writing skills.
• Implement phonics programmes effectively to enhance students’ literacy development.
• Manage student behaviour proactively to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Assist classroom teachers by providing learning support that meets developmental and educational needs.
• Communicate clearly in written and spoken English to support student learning and collaboration.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams to foster a cohesive learning environment.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude when working with students to encourage engagement and progress.
