Job summary

UNIVERSAL (FAR EAST) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive technician to operate and maintain semiconductor processing equipment, monitor and adjust process parameters for consistent product quality, and perform routine tests to verify performance in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and disciplined adherence to safety protocols. You will inspect wafers using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and current meters; document and analyze production data;

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronic.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with PLC and other industrial control machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain semiconductor processing equipment.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters for consistent product quality.
• Inspect and test wafers using oscilloscopes, multimeters and current meters.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Document and analyze production data, equipment performance, and process deviations.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and improve manufacturing protocols.
• Follow cleanroom protocols and safety procedures when handling sensitive materials.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies required for semiconductor production.
• Create initial design from customer feedback on new opportunity.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
