Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead a team of security personnel. Responsibilities include overseeing security operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and conducting training. Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in security/law enforcement at a supervisory level.
  • Minimum Officer Certification for Senior/Security Supervisor required by local authorities.
  • Possess valid security license and complete PWM Supervisor Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team and conduct daily briefings for security personnel.
  • Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activities.
  • Enforce discipline and report incidents as necessary.
  • Prepare incident reports and conduct training for new staff.

Job description
Overview

Possessed valid PLRD license, emplacement for SS rank successfully. Supervise a team of security personnel. Demonstrates good leadership skills and ability to lead a team of Security Officers.

Responsibilities
  • Day/Night shift; 12hr-shift (Fixed shift, no need to rotate)
  • Lead the team, conduct daily briefings, patrolling, protect the company’s premise and manage access control
  • Possess valid security license, and complete PWM Supervisor Certificate (PLRD requirements)
  • PC literate and able to prepare incident reports
  • Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) for new staff; guide and orientate them for the job
  • Fully familiarizes oneself with all emergency contingency plans, policies & procedures, manuals, etc., and understands the role of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the ERT Team Leader and CMT
  • Ensure Security Officers are at their assigned areas at all times to monitor for suspicious loiterers, articles, or incoming vehicles
  • Enforce discipline and report, warn or counsel on incidents of indiscipline observed as appropriate
  • Monitor CCTV/CAMS/Fire Command Centre (FCC)
Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ level
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in hotels or private security/law enforcement at a supervisory level
  • Minimum Officer Certification required by local authorities for Senior / Security Supervisor
  • Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certificate
  • Possess occupational CPR and AED
  • Basic Fire Fighting
  • First Aid Management
  • Knowledge in Fire Prevention & Protection of Building
  • Art of self-defenses, report writing, verbal and written skills, investigation and interrogation aptitude
  • Alert, vigilant, assertive, firm and able to project confidence
