Job summary

A luxury hotel chain in Singapore is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee security operations, manage access points, and monitor CCTV systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum GCE ‘N’ level and at least 4 years of relevant experience in hotel or private security. Security Supervisor
Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • Report for duty as scheduled and attend pre‑ and post‑shift briefings.
  • Ensure officers are properly equipped and deployed according to the daily roster.
  • Supervise the operations of the Hotel Security Control Room.
  • Monitor CCTV and security systems, promptly reporting irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Manage and authorize access points for staff, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
  • Oversee visitor and contractor registration through the Visitor Management System.
  • Conduct regular patrols of public areas, guest floors, and back‑of‑house locations.
  • Maintain accurate and secure handling of all security documents and records in line with SOPs.
  • Respond immediately to all security, safety, and medical emergencies.
  • Lead or assist in the Hotel Emergency Action Team (HEAT) / Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
  • Ensure all security equipment and systems are operational; report faults for maintenance.
  • Manage key and pass inventories, as well as lost and found reports.
  • Handle crowd control, lift access, and VIP escort duties when required.
  • Provide First Aid/CPR/AED assistance and support preliminary investigations when necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Security Manager or Management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ level
  • At least 4 years relevant experience in hotels or private security law enforcement at a supervisory level
  • Minimum Officer Certification required by local authorities for Senior / Security Supervisor
  • Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certificate
  • Possess occupational CPR and AED
  • Basic Fire Fighting
  • First Aid Management
  • Knowledge in Fire Prevention & Protection of Building
  • Conversant with the various systems in Hotel Security Room
  • Art of self‑defences, report writing, verbal and written skills, investigation and interrogation aptitude
