Role: Security Operations Engineer
The Security Operations Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating security incidents, performing alert investigations, supporting privileged access administration, and coordinating vulnerability, HCR, and audit activities.
This role requires strong ownership, investigation capability, and coordination skills to ensure all security events and findings are tracked and driven to closure.
Perform initial triage, investigation, and analysis of security alerts
Take full ownership of incidents and drive them to closure through coordination
Act as the central point of contact across infrastructure, application, and support teams
Ensure timely escalation, follow-up, and resolution of incidents
Maintain clear documentation of incident progress, findings, and closure
Perform user administration in CyberArk (onboarding, access changes, offboarding)
Support periodic access reviews and compliance requirements
Ensure adherence to privileged access governance and controls
Coordinate vulnerability assessments and security scans
Support and track Host Configuration Review (HCR) activities
Work with system owners and third parties to remediate findings
Maintain tracking of vulnerabilities, configuration gaps, and closure status
Support audit activities by providing required evidence and updates
Analyze logs from systems and endpoints to investigate suspicious activities
Correlate events and validate alerts to identify genuine threats
Contribute to improving incident tracking, reporting and coordination processes
Demonstrate willingness to learn and expand capabilities
