Responsibilities include monitoring for fire, theft, and vandalism, managing access to the site, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This position offers a dynamic work environment at the Teban Gardens West Region construction site.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in security.
• Knowledge of standard security and safety protocols.
• Valid security identification required.

Responsibilities

• Protect construction site against fire and theft.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property.
• Patrol assigned areas at predetermined intervals.
• Report fire hazards and machine malfunctions.
• Issue passes and direct visitors.

Responsibilities

• To protect construction site against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry,
• Permits authorized persons to enter property and records time of entry and departure,
• Patrols assigned area of construction site at predetermined intervals,
• Reports to Lead Hand on any fire hazards, malfunction of machine or equipment, interruption of utility services, leaking pipes and security doors unlocked,
• Issues passes and directs visitors to appropriate area,
• Observes windows, doors, gates, equipment and machinery to ensure they are properly secured,
• Checks alarms and fire extinguishers and other fire control systems to ensure that they are set to operate.
• All other basic security checks of the construction site
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• At least 2 years of similar experience
• Knowledge of Standard security and safety protocols
• With a valid Security identification
• Excellent verbal communications skills
• Quick thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to details
