Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee security operations across the SEA region, ensuring alignment with company policies, local regulations, and evolving risk environments
• Oversee the implementation of crisis management plans, contingency measures, and emergency response protocols
• Monitor changes in local and regional regulations to ensure timely updates and compliance of security procedures
• Ensure full adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements relating to security
• Manage the security and safety budget for the SEA region to ensure cost-effective resource allocation
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, IT, Retail Operations) as well as external partners to integrate security into business operations, support business continuity, and drive the effective execution of security initiatives
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, including risk assessments, incident summaries, and compliance status
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies and security service providers
• Prepare and present security-related reports, analyses, and recommendations to management, driving transparency and continuous improvement

Job Requirements

• Diploma holder or equivalent qualification
• Regional experience is preferred, ideally within the retail industry
• Strong understanding of security functions and their positive impact on business outcomes
• Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
