Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional security program that contributes to the prevention and reduction of fraudulent losses while promoting team member safety and security throughout the workplace and logistics network.
- Initiate investigations based on the analysis of loss trends, internal reports and input from other sources.
- Conduct security audits and surveys to detect areas of vulnerability or violations of company policies and procedures.
- Assist field operations in developing specific action plans that will result in operational and control compliance, conformity with established physical security and protection measures, and maintenance of a safe and secure work environment.
- Develop and provide security reports and other documents designed to familiarise regional leadership teams with the security/loss prevention activities and initiatives.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of security systems and technology for new and existing facilities.
- Develop and maintain face‑to‑face working relationships with the business operations, HR teams, and potentially customer resources within assigned geographical area of responsibility.
- Consult and coordinate efforts with Legal, HR, Internal Audit and other company personnel, vendors, outside regulatory and law enforcement agencies and customer resources.
Requirements
- Require at least 5 years of relevant experience. A minimum 4 years of experience in a security‑related industry.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends and travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, related work or military experience.
- Certification in W‑Z interviews and interrogations will be value‑added.
- Experience working in a distribution network and logistics environment.
- Project management, investigations and training experience CCTV‑alarm technical comprehension.
