A regional logistics company in Singapore is seeking a proactive Security Manager to enhance workplace safety and security. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in security roles, preferably within logistics, and will be skilled in investigations and program management. This position requires flexibility in hours, including weekends and travel, with responsibilities ranging from security audits to report preparation.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Security Manager to support our operations across the region. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure workplace, preventing losses, and protecting company assets through effective security programs, audits, and investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regional security programs to prevent losses and enhance team safety.
  • Lead investigations based on loss trends, audit results, and reports from various sources.
  • Conduct security audits and surveys to identify risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Work with field teams to develop action plans that strengthen operational controls and security measures.
  • Prepare and present regular security reports to regional leadership.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of security systems and technologies across facilities.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners, including HR, Legal, and law enforcement.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a security-related role.
  • Experience in logistics or distribution environments preferred.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, overtime, and travel.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
  • W-Z Interview and Interrogation certification is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong background in investigations, project management, and training.
  • Good understanding of CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to build trust and maintain strong working relationships with others.
