Qualifications

• Strong experience developing in Go/NodeJS/Python/Rust for production systems.
• Solid fundamentals in network programming (sockets, lifecycle, timeouts, retries).
• Practical understanding of applied security and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing strategies, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade services/libraries in security-sensitive contexts.
• Implement cryptographic mechanisms using established libraries with secure engineering practices.
• Develop components interacting with transport/security protocols (TLS, certificates) and networking primitives.
• Optimize performance for throughput/latency with profiling, memory efficiency, and concurrency control.
• Design for operability: metrics, structured logging, tracing, and safe failure modes.
• Write comprehensive tests: unit, integration, fuzz, and negative security tests.
• Participate in secure SDLC: threat modelling, code reviews, vulnerability remediation, dependency hygiene.
• Interface with services in languages like Go, C++, or Python as needed.
