We are looking for Security Executive to join our team
Primary Role
Run day-to-day hotel security operations professionally, working with in-house and outsourced guards to keep guests, colleagues, and assets safe in line with Singapore regulations and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out patrols in guest and staff areas; monitor cameras; manage access for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond to incidents (e.g., medical cases, disturbances, missing items, alarms); call police or SCDF when required and record details clearly.
- Write incident reports and update the daily security log; collect statements and secure any evidence as directed.
- Assist with fire-safety readiness: help with evacuation drills, check basic equipment, and support muster point control.
- Support loading bay control, contractor/visitor registration, permit checks, and safe entry/exit.
- Provide crowd control and guest service during peak periods and events; de-escalate disputes calmly.
- Handle lost-and-found properly, ensuring accurate logging and handover.
- Work with the outsourced security vendor on daily handovers and deployment; raise issues to the Security Supervisor/Manager.
- Report faults and help test security systems after repair (CCTV and access control).
- Brief colleagues on basic security awareness and emergency response as assigned.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of security experience, preferably in hotels or hospitality.
- Valid Singapore PLRD security license and WSQ Recognize Terrorist Threats; other WSQ security modules are an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of local requirements (Police Licensing & Regulatory Department, Personal Data Protection Act, Fire Safety Act).
- Certified (or willing to certify) in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- Comfortable using CCTV/video systems, electronic access control, incident/reporting tools, and common office software.
- Clear writing and communication; good judgment under pressure; high integrity and confidentiality.
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
