Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking an experienced Security Consulting professional to help customers and partners develop security expertise and drive cloud security engagements.

You will lead technical workstreams, design secure AWS solutions, mentor teammates, and collaborate with delivery partners to advance security, compliance, and risk management across large-scale cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
• 5+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, or Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of customer facing, complex and large-scale project management experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on infrastructure, troubleshooting, systems administration, networking, DevOps or applications development experience.

Description

At AWS, we're hiring an experienced Security Consulting professional to help our customers and partners develop technical expertise and capacity, and to work with our partners on key customer engagements.

Our consultants deliver security advice, architecture guidance, and security engineering; lead proof-of-concept projects; and deliver customer engagements. AWS consultants collaborate with customers to address security risk, achieve security outcomes, and implement and migrate customer solutions and workloads to the cloud. AWS consultants also have a drive to continue to learn and improve, including coaching and mentoring others.

This role specialises in all aspects of information and cyber security management, as well as business and regulatory compliance using cloud services in large-scale computing environments.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments


• 5+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience


• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, or Bachelor's degree


• 4+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience


• 2+ years of hands‑on infrastructure, troubleshooting, systems administration, networking, DevOps or applications development experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies


• Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands‑on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience


• Knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure technologies


• Experience in web security, or experience in Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem and experience with threat modeling and penetration testing


• CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification, or GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or Security+
