Job"s mission

The Section Manager Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and managing the manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tools. The role involves providing strong leadership in manufacturing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and drive the implementation of efficiency, cost savings, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.

What you will be working on
  • Plan, coordinate and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Establish the scheduling of work orders and team performance metrics, including monitoring output and adjusting schedules to ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Accountable for productivity, quality and training metrics of staff, and provide regular progress report and manufacturing metrics to management and cross-function stakeholders, including developing resolutions as needed to improve metrics achievement.
  • Lead and implement LEAN improvement projects.
  • Partner with Engineering on investigations and/or corrective actions, perform non-conformance investigation for review with engineering.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and accountable to ensure staff is appropriately trained to perform assigned work.
  • Lead a Manufacturing team of supervisors to meet tool output requirement, with clear capability to plan ahead and anticipate challenges.
  • Facilitate and lead productivity, safety, quality and cost improvement programs.
  • Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel.
  • Cultivate strong discipline of execution mindset within the team.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to supervisors.
  • Conduct performance reviews, including resolving performance issues.
