The role involves developing strategies to improve equipment efficiency and overseeing project startups. Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of automation, project, and repair specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback
Develop and implement equipment strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and reliability
Oversee project startups, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
Implement and maintain automation solutions to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs
Drive lean initiatives to optimize equipment utilization, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency
Manage internal repair operations, ensuring high-quality repairs and minimizing downtime
Develop and implement tool management strategies to ensure optimal tool utilization and maintenance
Manage inventory of parts and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste
Analyze and improve tool output productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Implement early detection methods to identify potential tool issues, reducing downtime and improving overall equipment effectiveness
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field
Proven experience in equipment management, automation, and project management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with automation technologies and equipment management systems
Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
