The successful candidate will teach French to learners across the Secondary School. They will support learners in developing proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening, alongside a strong understanding of French language and grammar.
The successful candidate will use inclusive teaching practices that promote learner agency, wellbeing and academic progress. They will draw on a range of effective pedagogical approaches, including inquiry, explicit instruction, modelling and structured practice, to create positive learning environments that motivate and challenge all learners. They will support learners in becoming confident, self-regulated and lifelong learners who can communicate effectively in written and spoken French.
The job holder is responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people for whom they are responsible or with whom they come into contact. The job holder must adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Taylor's Schools Safeguarding Policy and Procedures at all times.
