Job Description

We seek an inspirational teacher to teach PE Years 7 to 13. Our sport facilities include two sports halls, a 9‑a‑sde floodlit 3G pitch, a multipurpose outdoor court and a 20m pool, shared across the primary and secondary school. We offer a contextualised English National Curriculum in Years 7 and 8, Edexcel GCSE PE Years 9–11 and IB DP Sports Exercise and Health Science (SEHS). Excellence in teaching and learning and a commitment to contributing to our thriving sports programme are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver PE instruction to Years 7–13, implementing the contextualised English National Curriculum and programme‑specific curricula (GCSE PE and IB DP SEHS).
  • Contribute to the vibrant sports programme, enhancing team participation and inter‑school competition.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support pastoral care, well‑being and co‑curricular activities.
  • Participate in the annual FOBISIA Games and invitational tournaments, promoting the school’s sporting reputation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified PE teacher with experience teaching GCSE PE and SEHS highly desirable.
  • Passionate about high‑quality teaching, reflective practitioner and effective collaborator.
  • Basketball and volleyball expertise preferred.
  • Experience in delivering contextualised curriculum to secondary students.
