Job summary

A large tech company in Singapore is looking for a Search and Recommendation Algorithm Expert. You will participate in R&D for search services, lead implementation of algorithms, and design performance evaluation methods. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in a related field, has experience in team management, and is skilled in data structures, ML, and programming languages. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD degree is preferred, major in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years working experience of team management in a search engine is preferred.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, ML, DL, NLP, LLM, Big Data Analysis, etc.
• Hands-on experience working with programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala.
• Strong understanding of DL frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• In-depth research or project experience in search engines, advertising, AIGC, etc. is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and strong sense of responsibility.

Job Description

• Participate in the research and development of search service in Huawei App Store for both applications and other services
• Lead the end-to-end implementation process for the recall and ranking algorithms development and integration
• Design and implement A / B tests, experiments, and performance evaluation methods to test and compare different search and recommendation models.
• Explore innovative methods for cutting-edge AI technologies, including information retrieval, ranking, LLM and search & recommendation related area.

Requirements

• PhD degree is preferred, major in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years working experience of team management in search engine is preferred
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, ML, DL, NLP, LLM, Big Data Analysis, etc.
• Hands-on experience working with programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, and strong understanding DL frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• With in-depth research or project experience in one or more technical directions is preferred, including search engine, advertising, AIGC etc.
• With powerful capabilities of problem probe and resolution, to quickly analyze and find out root cause from huge and complex business data, and provide effective solutions.
