Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Seafreight Operations Specialist at Astro Express Logistics P/L in Singapore. The Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations, overseeing supply chain management, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Scope
  • Assist in coordinating and managing ocean freight shipments.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, customs declarations).
  • Liaise with customers, carriers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on‑time delivery and resolve issues.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and updating clients on shipment status.
  • Maintain accurate records and update systems with shipment details.
Requirements
  • GCE O Level / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
  • 1- 2 years of working experience in freight forwarding or logistics
  • Proficiency in Logistics Softwares and Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory)and Mandarin (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player
  • Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Analytical Skills and Supply Chain Management expertise
  • Experience in Export, Import or both processes
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities
Working Location and Hours

Working remote‑laptop is required

Working 5 days with 1 Saturday monthly on duty
