A global ship management company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to assist in day-to-day activities, monitor OPEX usage, and prepare budgets. Qualifications

  • Monitor monthly OPEX usage and provide variance analysis.
  • Prepare annual crewing budgets and projections.
  • Verify, process and reconcile manning invoices.

Job description
Responsibilities:
Coordination & Support
  • Assist the Assistant Manager / Manager on the day-to-day activities.
  • Liaise with the crewing managers / manning agents.
OPEX Management & Administration
  • Monitor monthly OPEX usage and provide variance analysis and commentary.
  • Prepare annual crewing budgets and projections, present explanations to management / commercial team for assigned vessels.
  • Verify, process and reconcile manning invoices, coordinate payment arrangements with the accounting team.
  • Review and reconcile ship’s month end cash reports.
  • Prepare monthly accruals related to manning costs.
  • Administer and reconcile all personnel-related personal injury and medical P&I insurance claims.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Prior experience in ship management or accounting is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, invoice verification, and expense tracking.
  • Proficient computer skills
