Job Description

We are looking for a research scientist who has strong interest and background in Nuclear Materials, Engineering, and Technology, including fuel and coolant-facing materials and protections, corrosion science and technology (including but not limited to electrochemical and liquid metal/molten salt conditions), and development of protective coatings on structural metal alloys toward their applications in extreme conditions.

Job Responsibilities

• Set‑up and conduct electrochemical and molten salt corrosion testing for various structural materials
• Develop ceramic‑based corrosion‑resistant and gas‑impermeable coatings on structural metal alloys
• Characterize, analyze, and report corrosion‑induced material degradations

Job Requirements

• PhD in Metallurgy, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
• Good team player, fast and independent learner, ability to communicate and collaborate well with others, proactive in research projects
