Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our project, focusing on end‑of‑life (EOL) Li‑ion battery diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development in Li‑ion battery diagnostics through electrical/electrochemical methods.
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement methods, models and algorithms for rapid and accurate grading of lithium‑ion battery (LiB) performance for second‑life applications.
  • Assist in engaging industry partners to secure interest and resources and ensure the project remains relevant to industry needs.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in battery diagnostics, EV charging, and related fields.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Proven experience in Li‑ion battery or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with advanced battery diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Li‑ion battery degradation behaviour and characterization.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to EV charging and battery technologies.
  • Familiarity with BMS, EV charging systems or electrical grid technologies.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and modeling software.
