A research laboratory in Singapore is seeking a Research Fellow to support immunology studies on allergic diseases and skin disorders. Responsibilities include managing laboratory safety, creating SOPs, and conducting experiments involving flow cytometry and data analysis. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant field and experience with immune cell assays. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
A Research fellow position is available in Dr. Anand Andiappan Laboratory at the Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN). The successful candidate will support the research work that focuses on studying the immunology of allergic diseases and skin disorders. The candidate will work on primary cells from cohorts and cell culture systems towards understanding functional immune responses in skin immune interactions. Additional work involves cellular and stimulation assays with flow cytometry and FACS analysis along with imaging by microscopy, and associated data analysis with statistical tested.
Duties will include managing safety in the laboratory, creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory risk assessments, maintaining laboratory inventories, perform other laboratory administrative duties and operations such as ordering and tracking laboratory budget.
