A leading research institution in Singapore is looking for a candidate to develop next-generation quantum sensors. The role involves high-performance light generation, particle modeling, and microfabrication tasks. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in related fields and have a strong motivation for multidisciplinary research. Experience in superconductivity or quantum sensing is preferred.
We are seeking a talented and ambitious candidate to join our team in developing next-generation quantum sensors. The project focuses on creating a mesoscopic-scale "artificial atom" through superconducting levitation of a ferromagnetic particle. This levitated, freely precessing particle represents a system of correlated spins, capable of rapidly averaging quantum uncertainty. By leveraging this system, we aim to develop quantum sensors with sensitivities surpassing the standard quantum limits.
This position is based in A*STAR Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.InC). The successful candidate will contribute to a range of innovative activities, including:
The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive. A*STAR may include additional selection criteria based on its prevailing recruitment policies. These policies may be amended from time to time without notice. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
