Job summary

Procter & Gamble is seeking talented researchers to push the boundaries of skin and scalp science using AI-driven discovery platforms. The role will bridge biology and computational modeling, partnering with experimental scientists to translate complex questions into actionable AI experiments.

You will work within the Skin Bioscience Discovery Accelerator context in Singapore, applying data science, AI, and statistics to drive breakthroughs in consumer health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• 3–5 years in AI for Life/Biological Science is ideal.
• Experience with skin/hair biology is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-enabled workflows for skin and scalp research.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve Design-Build-Test-Learn (DBTL) multi agent scientific workflows that connect biological understanding, data generation, modeling, and experimental validation
• Enable agents to use internal databases, APIs, simulation tools, OMICS pipelines, dashboards, and scientific models for evidence retrieval, hypothesis generation and evaluation, mechanistic reasoning, experiment planning, and decision support
• Evaluate and apply emerging methods in agentic AI, AI Scientist systems, biological foundation models, and AI Co-Scientist architectures
• Collaborate closely with experimental scientists and technology teams to translate biological questions into computational frameworks and model-driven discovery experiments
• Contribute to the development of the Skin Bioscience Discovery Accelerator's AI-enabled discovery platform, helping create next-generation capabilities

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, a or related field with experience in Applied AI
• 3-5 years relevant experience and experience in AI for (Life/Biological) Science will be ideal
• Experience in skin and hair follicle biology preferred
• Experience in biological foundation models, multimodal scientific AI, active learning, or AI Co-Scientist systems preferred
• Passion for experimentation, invention, and solving difficult technical problems
• Strong innovation mindset and a track record of developing new ideas, technologies, methods, or solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to form effective partnerships
• Strong execution skills and a bias for action
