Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate joint laboratory collaborations with external research institutes, universities, and clinical or industrial partners.
• Plan and execute scientific experiments, feasibility studies, and validation work related to IVD product development.
• Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of diagnostic assays and technologies under collaborative projects.
• Ensure technical alignment and data integrity between Cordx and partner laboratories throughout project execution.
• Prepare and review technical reports, experimental documentation, and project updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure all collaborative projects comply with Singapore’s HSA and ISO 13485 standards.
• Support technology transfer activities, including training, documentation, and validation processes.
• Represent Cordx in technical meetings, joint research discussions, and partner evaluations to ensure project success and alignment with Cordx’s innovation roadmap.

Job Requirements

• PhD in Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IVD research, assay development, or clinical diagnostics.
• Proven experience working in collaborative or cross-institutional laboratory projects.
• Strong technical expertise in assay development, analytical validation, and troubleshooting for diagnostic applications.
• Familiar with Singapore’s regulatory and quality frameworks for IVD product development (e.g., HSA, ISO 13485, GLP/GMP standards).
• Excellent scientific writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
