Job Description
Research Programme Management
- Coordinate the implementation and day-to-day management of assigned NIRBA Innovation Clusters.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, timelines and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Support planning and execution of cluster meetings, scientific workshops and research reviews.
Scientific Coordination
- Work closely with Principal Investigators and research teams to monitor scientific progress across multiple projects.
- Provide scientific input on research strategies, experimental approaches and opportunities for collaboration where appropriate.
- Identify synergies across projects and facilitate integration of complementary research activities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investigators, collaborators and partner institutions within the assigned cluster.
- Coordinate interactions with local and international collaborators, advisory boards and funding stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across NUS, NTU, A*STAR and external partners.
Research Performance & Reporting
- Consolidate scientific progress reports, research outputs and impact metrics.
- Track publications, intellectual property, translational outcomes and other programme achievements.
- Prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials for NIRBA leadership, funding agencies and governance committees.
Research Governance Support
- Support research collaboration agreements, grant variations and scientific reporting requirements.
- Ensure research activities are conducted in accordance with institutional and funding agency requirements.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with research governance and programme obligations.
Translation & Strategic Development
- Support initiatives that strengthen research translation, industry engagement and national collaborations.
- Identify emerging scientific developments and opportunities that enhance NIRBA's research portfolio.
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of cluster programmes.
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, RNA Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Immunology, Bioengineering, Pharmacology or a related discipline.
- Experience in managing or supporting multidisciplinary research programmes is advantageous.
- Broad understanding of biomedical research and emerging RNA technologies.
- Strong scientific writing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and project management abilities.
