• Prepare chemicals and apparatus for lessons following safety guidelines.
• Assist teachers during laboratory sessions with distributing materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and manage inventory of lab resources.

Job description

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

• Prepare chemicals, specimens and apparatus for laboratory lessons while ensuring that MOE safety guidelines and standards are adhered to.
• Assist the Science teachers during laboratory lessons such as distributing chemicals, specimens and apparatus.
• Maintain the SOPs and cleanliness of the Science laboratories.
• Ensure that the equipment and apparatus are in good working condition and well-maintained.
• Perform inventory checks on resources and maintain adequate level of stock in the laboratories.
• Assist in the organising of Science events/field trips for pupils.
• Perform any other duties and tasks assigned by the school to support the Science curriculum.
