Option to Extend

Eleven (11) months from 1 January 2027 to 30 November 2027


Working Hours

Personnel will be deployed at the following hours:



  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (inclusive of 45‑minute lunch break)

  • Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (inclusive of 45‑minute lunch break)

  • Saturday, Sunday, and Gazetted Public Holidays: No service required.


Scope of Services

The Science Laboratory Attendant shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:



  • Set up and distribute chemicals, materials, and apparatus for daily science practical sessions, internal examinations, GCE ‘O’ Level examinations, and other science‑related activities.

  • Clear and clean up after each laboratory session by ensuring proper disposal of chemicals and materials. Wipe tables and ensure the floor is clean and safe.

  • Check that all apparatus are in good working condition and perform minor repairs on laboratory equipment as necessary.

  • Maintain laboratory safety standards and assist teachers in handling accidents or emergencies.

  • Participate in checking and maintaining inventory stock of laboratory items.

  • Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the school.


Qualifications and Skills

The Personnel shall minimally possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:



  • Educational Qualification: PSLE or equivalent.

  • Personal Attributes: Organized, meticulous, and an excellent team player with the ability to multi‑task.

  • Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience: Preferably with prior laboratory experience in a school environment.
