Job summary

Job description

Position: School Lab Technician (10-Month Contract)

Contract Duration: 10 months
Start Date: 2 January 2026
Exclusions: June and December 2026
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 2:00pm (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break; total 5 hours per day)

Salary: $11/hour

Job Scope:

• Prepare apparatus and materials for science experiments.
• Conduct stock-taking, manage equipment, and report inventory each term.
• Monitor materials and alert for replenishment; assist HOD in sourcing vendors.
• Perform minor repairs on electrical apparatus and handle dataloggers.
• Render first-aid to students when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in school lab operations.
• Basic computing skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• 5 O-Level passes or equivalent.
• Knowledge of using and handling dataloggers.
• Organized, responsible, and able to work independently.
