Job summary

A leading science education company in Singapore is seeking an Operations Associate to assist with science experiments and manage equipment. Responsibilities include preparing apparatus for lessons, conducting stock takes, and assisting with vendor searches. Candidates should have at least 2 years of operational experience, basic computing skills, and a minimum of 'O' Level education. A passion for science and knowledge of dataloggers is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in operations or job-related experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apparatus for science experiments before lessons.
• Conduct stock take and manage materials for science experiments.
• Send logistic reports on stock checking per term.
• Alert the school for material replenishments.
• Assist in vendor searches for science equipment purchases.
• Perform simple repairs to electrical apparatus.
• Render first-aid service to students if necessary.

Working Hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes of lunch break

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare apparatus for science experiments before the lesson
• Stock take of equipment and managing of materials used by science experiments periodically.
• Send a logistic report on the stock checking per term.
• Monitor and alert to the school for replenishment of materials
• Assist HOD science to search for vendors on purchasing of science related equipment when necessary
• Simple repairs to any damage of electrical apparatus or any similar work related to science
• Knowledge of using and handling datalogger
• Able to render first-aid service to students if necessary
