A leading educational support company based in Singapore is looking for a lab support assistant to help with clearing and maintaining lab apparatus, washing experiments, refilling reagents, and assisting during school events. The role requires at least ‘O’ level qualifications and relevant experience in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum ‘O’ level Qualifications.
• Relevant school based experience would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clearing of lab apparatus and materials after practical lessons.
• Washing of science lab experiment after practical lessons.
• Refilling of reagents in the science lab under guidance.
• Cleaning of table and floor of science laboratories.
• Helping out for school events during working hours.
• Assisting for practical exams and assessments.

Job description

Working Hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1/2hr lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 1/2hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities

• clearing of lab apparatus and materials after practical lessons
• washing of science lab experiment after practical lessons
• refilling of reagents in the science lab (under guidance of lab technical officer)
• cleaning of table and floor of science laboratories
• helping out for school events (fiesta/ temperature taking exercise, e.t.c.) during working hours
• assistance for GCE 'O' level science practical exam and school based assessment
